Natural Orange Flavour
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin also known as Cholecalciferol. It is often referred to as the ‘sunshine vitamin’ as it is synthesised in the skin on exposure to sunlight. Vitamin D is necessary for the absorption of calcium and for bone growth. It also plays a role in regulating the immune system. Dietary sources include oily fish, milk, and dairy products. Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin found in the food sources leafy green vegetables, alfalfa, kelp, egg yolk, and oily fish. It is necessary for building healthy bones and is also involved in the manufacture of blood clotting factors. These two vitamins work synergistically together to ensure optimum calcium absorption in the bones where we need it most.
