Natural Lime Flavour
Quercetin is a bioflavonoid commonly found in the skins of apples and red onions. It is also found in green and black tea and to a lesser extent, in leafy green vegetables and beans. The human body cannot produce bioflavonoids and therefore they must be obtained from the diet. Bioflavonoids have many important roles in the human body, one of which is to protect and preserve the structure of capillaries, with the help of vitamin C. Bioflavonoids are also believed to have an antibacterial effect, promote circulation, stimulate bile production and lower cholesterol levels.
